I had said before that the figure would have looked better with the Gestapo outfit I saw at the movie website, but the base figure as is, is pretty nice cause its unusual. He's not a big muscular dude (love that chest armor)...
and he's got these unusual fighting knives..

The detail on the belt/waist could have been better. The sheaths for the knives are simply skipped over at the waist.
Mezco did something unusual with his foot. Instead of having the typical break at the toes, it twists around at the ankle. Dont recall that in another fig..
My son took this one..
yeah the mid-foot articulation has been used on occasion, but because of it's ood look and almost uselessness, it hasn't been used much, with Koroenen it helps though for a wide-legged pose

It would be sweet if McF got that license... I hate ball-joint hips... A less articulated statue would do nicely.

Spawn the Bloodaxe has that same type of foot articulation. I don't like it.
But I can't wait to get the rest of the Hellboy figures. I own Abe and Rasputin, and I think they're fantastic. Kroenen will probably be the last one I pick up, just because he's the easiest to find, but I still think he's a great looking figure.
